Hello! I am thrilled you stopped by. Guardian's Promise has been in development for several years. I am a former teacher, wife, and mother of 2 very busy kiddos. While teaching in HISD & FBISD for over 12 years, my family and I have also been avidly dedicated to foster care placement for more than 20 years. I am also a Licensed Child Placing Agency Administrator (LCPAA) for the State of Texas. Over the past decade, I have recognized the need for exceptional families, as there are an abundance of precious children who need a second chance at normalcy and stability in their lives. I retired from teaching to focus on my own family; however, I found myself still wanting to support, guide and give hope to children in need. These gifts of God, our future leaders, do deserve a chance to reach their desired goals. Benny is a Texas transplant, but has been here since the 80's. He has over 20 years of experience in the service industry working with the Dallas Police Department as a police officer, then working with the State of Texas as an auditor. Helping children and families comes natural to him. Benny is married with three kiddos that keep him busy. Benny has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice, and a BA in accounting from University of Houston. He has been a great addition to our office. Fun Fact: I have known Benny for 42 years ;)

Tiffani is a native of Baytown, Texas. She has over 20 years of experience in the Child Welfare Field. Helping children and families comes natural to her. Tiffani is married with two adopted sons. She has a master’s Degree in organizational management from The University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Lamar University. Tiffani is an Licensed Child Placing Agency Administrator for the State of Texas. Tiffani is the heart of Guardian's Promise!

Meet one of the brainiacs behind our operation- Stephanie Lang! She is our walking, talking Policies & Procedures queen. Stephanie comes to us with an expansive background in this industry and a wealth of knowledge. She is warm-hearted, but don't be fooled by her quiet demeanor. Her pranks and witty personality is what I love about her the most! Stephanie graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Relations and a Masters in Counseling from Amberton University. She is amazing at what she does and she is truly one of our greatest assets.

Mary Ann Vargas is a Case Manager who strives to make a positive impact in people’s lives. She employs professional compassion involving engagement, empathy, organization, and overall concern for children’s success.
Mary Ann works as a team member and she understands the importance of making decisions as a team. Every family is different, every situation is different, and every case is different. She enjoys meeting other professional individuals that strive to help make a positive impact in a child’s successful goals.
Mary Ann received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in Health and Human Services in 2018 from the University of Houston-Downtown. She has nobly been in the social services industry for over a decade and has gained rewarding relationships and bonds with many families in her career.

Rekell Rollins is a case manager who is dedicated in her work profession. She graduated from Prairie View A&M University with her bachelors in Social Work. She works hard to ensure that clients get the care they need by helping their families access needed services. She coordinates and monitors multiple services from different providers to serve clients needs. She have a beautiful heart when it comes to children and families. Rekell is a loving Aunty to an adorable neice and nephews, who she enjoys every moment with. Guardians Promise has welcomed Rekell with open arms. Rekell is a kind soul that always makes us laugh. Meet Leslie Baena-Tan! Leslie is a busy bee always buzzing around the office or around town with her foster babies. She is passionate about her job and we just love her! We are so lucky to have this gem amongst us. She is truly a social worker by definition at its finest! Leslie just joined our GP family! She is a hard worker, bilingual, and a newlywed! Leslie loves children and has a sweet soul. We can't wait for you to meet her!

Please join us in welcoming Ashley Washington to Guardian’s Promise. Miss Washington is a native of Baytown, Texas. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Lamar University. She has 10 years of experience in the child welfare field to include the following: foster care case manager, foster home developer, case manager supervisor, home study assessor. Miss Washington is also a certified PAPH and Pride Trainer. Ashley is a photographer & a foodie. She loves basketball, has a witty spirit, great style and big heart for kids. She adds some color and spunk to our team and we already love her! Once you meet her, you'll feel the same. Welcome aboard, Miss Ashley!
